Flags shake up roster, deal captain

The Port Huron Flags traded captain Ryan Gillis and defenseman Jeff Cameron to the Bloomington PrairieThunder yesterday in exchange for left wing Garett Cameron and defensemen Chris Bogas and Sam Webber.

Gillis posted no goals or assists and 14 penalty minutes during the first part of the season, while Jeff Cameron had one goal, four assists and 46 penalty minutes.

Garrett Cameron picked up four goals and two assists in seven games with the PrairieThunder. Bogas (pictured left) has played nine games this season and scored once. He was a 1996 draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs, played collegiately at Michigan State and last season with the Motor City Mechanics. Webber is a rookie defenseman who played just three games in Bloomington.

Additionally, center Chris Pittman was placed on waivers this afternoon. In 11 games, Pittman recorded no goals, two assists and six penalty minutes.
